Nationally Certified and Licensed to practice Acupuncture in the District of Columbia, Florida, Maryland, and Virginia Heather Ruth received her Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine from the East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida graduating magna cum laude in 2002.

A northern Virginia native, Heather began the practice of Reiki when she was just 15 years old, receiving her Level III Advanced Practitioner's Certificate in 1996. She began her studies in BodyTalk the following year. She has certified and advanced training in modules 1 through 9. In addition she has trained in other various energy bodywork techniques and brings to her practice a depth of knowledge and understanding of the workings of the human being from both traditional Eastern and Western allopathic perspectives.
